The weblog Repeal the 17th Amendment has short post warning their readership about an effort being promoted by Senator John Kerry through a resolution to provide nuclear intellectual cooperation between the United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Well I have to ask, why is John Kerry asking for this resolution to provide nuclear knowledge when our Armed Forces in Afghanistan are actually there because of the Pakistan nuclear weapons that Great Britain gave them some years ago, and at the same time we have an escalation of tensions with Iran, who is seeking to develop their own nuclear capability, which may or may not be peaceful; and lets not forget the offensive nuclear weapons capability that Israel has.
So do we really want to start providing our knowledge of nuclear science to Middle Eastern country? I say hell no! We need to contact our national elected officials and let them know straight away that we oppose this buffoonery!
How is it that Kerry opposes nuclear development in the United States, but is fostering it in the oil rich country of the UAE?

As the US media continues to squash any mention of the “Climategate” scandal, Commonwealth leaders and Nicolas Sarkozy, the French President, were signing a new deal that would fund satellites to monitor, supposedly, the rain forests…right.
Sure the “global community” having it’s own satellites to monitor the earth’s surface for climate change, and whose going to control this, well of course it’s our good friends over at the United Nations. Can you say global government folks?

This letter to the editor appeared in The Columbus Dispatch:
It’s been a remarkably contentious few months in our nation’s capital. But one thing is clear from the flurry of bills, amendments and stump speeches on climate change: Cap and trade will fail Americans, especially in the lower and middle classes, and bring higher fuel costs across the board.
The fuels that individuals and businesses use every day — gasoline, diesel and jet fuel — will increase dramatically in price under this legislation. Despite the number of bells and whistles attached, from green-power subsidies or weak nuclear-power amendments to minor offshore-drilling concessions, cap and trade is a toxin that will spread to every corner of our economy.
According to a study by the Heritage Foundation, Ohioans would be looking at almost $4 billion less in disposable income, 46,000 jobs lost and $10.6 billion in lost state revenue. Though the White House and its allies in Congress have relentlessly marketed cap and trade as the ticket for a “green economy” and “green jobs,” many Americans are catching on that these do not exist without massive taxpayers’ subsidies and exponentially higher energy rates.
Ohioans must stay on guard; this issue is far from dead. Urge Ohio Sens. Sherrod Brown and George V. Voinovich to stop cap-and-trade legislation and keep America moving on the transportation fuels it needs.

I had been watching the situation in Honduras developing unfortunately through the mainstream media’s perspective and I was having a difficult time sorting out the truth. Various “spins” were being promulgated through out by the two sides of the statist media complex, however, the facts are emerging and it looks as though the present administration, along with it’s recipient of the Noble Peace Prize, may be involved with some nation toppling. Dr. Mark W. Hendrickson, of Grove City College, offers an inportant overview and analysis of the situation that points to further mischief on the part of the globalists.
While many call the mainstream news media complex by the labels of liberal or socialist, I prefer to use the term statist because there are many neo-con outlets that subscribe to the ever increasing centralized government agenda (you know who they are) and are only subtly different from the left. Some might categorize them as part of the government media complex. I prefer to call it the statist media complex because the government hasn’t openly taken them over…yet.

From What Really Happened:
‘The Israel lobby is aiming to soften up US public opinion for an attack on Iran,’ writes Richard Silverstein, ‘Americans should resist its propaganda’.
I’m not so sure Obama would keep us out of war with Iran. Events could unfold conveniently that could draw us into an even deeper hole than Afghanistan.

Pat Buchanan’s final post for February spotlighted the renewed cry for war with Iran. Make no mistake about this, there is a concerted effort among many in Washington, the self-aggrandizing that believe they are above us commoners, to spill young American blood for the further conquest of the Near and Middle East. To be assured, the two main political parties are joined at the hip with this perpetual war policy. (It’s time for a new way, a new party!)
PJB said:
For, unlike Israel, Pakistan and India, none of which signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and all of which ran clandestine programs and built atom bombs, Iran signed the NPT and has abided by its Safeguards Agreement. What it refuses to accept are the broader demands of the U.N. Security Council because these go beyond the NPT and sanction Iran for doing what it has a legal right to do.
Moreover, Adm. Dennis Blair, who heads U.S. intelligence, has just restated the consensus of the 2007 National Intelligence Estimate that Iran does not now possess and is not now pursuing a nuclear weapons program.
Bottom line: Neither the United States nor the IAEA has conclusive evidence that Iran either has the fissile material for a bomb or an active program to build a bomb. It has never tested a nuclear device and has never demonstrated a capacity to weaponize a nuclear device, if it had one.
Why, then, the hype, the hysteria, the clamor for “Action This Day!”? It is to divert America from her true national interests and stampede her into embracing as her own the alien agenda of a renascent War Party.
None of this is to suggest the Iranians are saintly souls seeking only peace and progress. Like South Korea, Japan and other nations with nuclear power plants, they may well want the ability to break out of the NPT, should it be necessary to deter, defend against or defeat enemies.
But that is no threat to us to justify war. For decades, we lived under the threat that hundreds of Russian warheads could rain down upon us in hours, ending our national existence. If deterrence worked with Stalin and Mao, it can work with an Iran that has not launched an offensive war against any nation within the memory of any living American.
Can we Americans say the same?
No we can’t; we have misused the tremendous might this country has at it’s right hand. We have wielded our great power for everything other than “defense.”
The call must go out to every citizen to rebuke the Washington insiders march to war. We must demand our congressional representatives exercise their constitutional authority and stop this maddening march to war. Congress decides where, when and if we go to war, not the self-annointed aristocracy, or some Caesar.

Steve Watson writing at Infowars has an article about the US Army’s plan to buy $6 million of riot gear. I am not really sure this equates to a concerted effort to suppress Americans because $6 million dollars spread over the entire force is not really a lot of money.
However what it tells me is that there are no plans to scale back “nation building” and our forces will continue to engage in police style engagements while being forever mired in peace keeping operations in the middle east, for that matter around the world. Considering the creation of the new Africa Command we can expect our forces will be toppling third world dictators for years to come, especially with Obama as president, so they will need this “police gear.”
With that said, folks should be asking their friends and families in the National Guard if they are receiving new riot control equipment as described in Watson’s article, because if they are, and in large quantities, then this is a good indicator that we may moving in the direction Watson states. The National Guard will be the first military employed for any domestic civil suppression.
But let me be clear, I do know that many in the military defense establishment, both in the government and private sectors, are planning to suppress this country. Watson may not be connecting the dots exactly, but he is seeing the end result clearly.

A quick internet search brought me to this article on the Daily KOS, and low and behold Barry Hussein Obama called for Georgia’s NATO membership.
“I have consistently called for deepening relations between Georgia and transatlantic institutions, including a Membership Action Plan for NATO, and we must continue to press for that deeper relationship,” Obama says.
However Barry is too gutless to admit the actual antagonist in the situation:
“No matter how this conflict started, Russia has escalated it well beyond the dispute over South Ossetia and invaded another country. Russia has escalated its military campaign through strategic bombing and the movement of its ground forces into the heart of Georgia. There is no possible justification for these attacks.”
But at least the misguided “useful idiot” writer at KOS admits the truth behind the attack, but still doesn’t realize he’s being manipulated by folks like Barry:
“This conflict, stupidly started by Georgia but vastly escalated by Russia, is a perfect example of Russia attitude of what’s Russia’s is Russia’s and what’s everyone else’s is also Russia’s. While there may have been dispute about self-rule in Southern Ossetia and Abkhazia the status of those two territories as Georgian sovereign territory was never in doubt – until now.”
What is troubling with the left-right paradigm in this country today is that we have situation where the Bush Administration has helped prop up this puppet regime in Georgia and we have Barry Hussein agreeing in total with Bush. But we have to remember who has been Barry’s foreign policy adviser, Republican and CFR member Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana, who is a toady of Zbigniew Brzezinski. Since Barry entered the US Senate he has been groomed as the next Democrat defense specialist to take over the roll that has not been fill since Sen. Sam Nunn (D-GA) left.
Ladies and gentlemen understand, this is really one party, one goal, which is a centralized world control, and they are actively work here in the US to accomplish this goal. Now if you are leftist liberal socialist that subscribes to the Daily KOS there is little hope for you. You obviously agree with the new world order, but if you are grounded to the ideal of self determination, freedom, limited nationalism and government, and believe in the western culture you must wake up to the goals of these globalists. Bush, Obama, Biden, and McCain are all on the same sheet of music. Even if you are a leftist, wake up to at least one fact, your man Barry is in bed with the military defense complex, the same folks that support the Bush-Cheney regime. It’s all the same players.
