The Dispatch is reporting that Hocking College President John Light will leave the college at the end of this coming school year. Light has been accused of funding countless trips around the world for himself, his wife, and select staff members. Had this been any profession other than education, to include other governments agencies, Light would have been booted long ago, and at least convicted. Yet Light can hang around for another entire school year. The education field is the most bankrupt and deficient occupation field in this country today because of two central reasons: elitism and unionism. Free markets would smash both.

McCain and Obama to Support Forced Work Brigades
5 September 2008 · 1 Comment
Here is another indicator displaying little difference between McCain and Obama; both candidates are going to show support for the socialist organizations called ServiceNation and My Good Deed. Both candidates will be at Columbia University on Sept 11th to discuss community service, which is code word for forced work brigades.
The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany had the same thing, as well as Communist China and Korea. In our country socialists have been laying the ground work for this facet of socialism through the NEA (National Teachers Association) and our community schools by mandating these silly community service projects that are necessary for graduation.
You can’t force people to be altruistic in a free society, it must come from the heart. And certainly it’s not government’s place to teach altruism; it’s your family’s, church, or community association, but certainly never ever the government.
Make no mistake, ServiceNation and My Good Deed are laying the ground work for socialism, and your presidential candidates are aiding the effort.
Vote for either Barr or Baldwin, but vote third party!
Update: The web log Connecting the Dots has a post this morning detailing a similar organization Comrade Obama created called Public Allies.
